Start Up Ciencia 2026 & OpenStartup G7

TerraSur Secures StartUp Ciencia 2026 and Joins OpenBeauchef’s OpenStartups G7 Cohort!

June has been packed with big news:

We secured the StartUp Ciencia 2026 grant, and we’ve already kicked off the project this month. This initiative, supported by ANID (Chile’s National Research and Development Agency), aims to back science and technology ventures with high potential for impact. This is TerraSur’s second StartUp Ciencia project, allowing us to continue developing our solution for subsurface exploration and characterization.

During this new phase, we will work on strengthening our 3D magnetotelluric modelling technology, incorporating improvements that increase its robustness and ease of use. Our goal is to bring advanced geophysical tools closer to companies, consultancies, and researchers through an accessible and efficient platform.

This project will also allow us to keep driving the creation of highly specialized jobs in areas such as geophysics, data science, artificial intelligence, and technology development, contributing to the growth of Chile’s scientific and innovation ecosystem.

We were also selected to join OpenBeauchef’s OpenStartups G7, a program designed to support ventures linked to the Universidad de Chile in their validation and growth journey. Through mentoring, workshops, and networking activities, we will receive support to strengthen our business development, including commercial strategy, market validation, and industry engagement.

We keep working to connect science, technology, and industry from Chile to Latin America
